Pre-Sales Manager

As a Pre-Sales Manager, you will oversee a team of Pre-Sales Engineers, ensuring they deliver compelling technical solutions and presentations to prospective clients. Your role will involve strategic planning, team management, and high-level client engagement to drive sales growth and establish long-term partnerships. You will leverage your commercial acumen to negotiate and persuade key decision-makers, including CISOs and senior management.
Responsibilities:


Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Pre-Sales Engineers, providing guidance on technical demonstrations, client interactions, and sales strategies.


Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Pre-Sales process, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market trends.


Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with high-level clients, including CISOs and senior management, to build trust and drive business growth.


Technical Oversight: Provide high-level technical guidance on cybersecurity solutions, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM), though experience in broader cybersecurity areas is also valuable.


Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes, documentation, and feedback mechanisms to enhance team performance and efficiency.


Presentation and Positioning: Deliver high-level presentations to position our products effectively in the market, highlighting their value proposition and competitive advantages.


Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and product positioning.


Qualifications:


Leadership Experience: experience in managing teams, preferably in a Pre-Sales or similar technical environment.


Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a commercial mindset.


Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with high-level clients.


Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market, with a focus on IAM or related areas.


Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and improve team performance.


Process Management: Experience in managing processes, improving efficiency, and documenting best practices.


Feedback and Coaching: Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
