Senior Quality & AI Test Engineer Specialist

A multinacional company is looking for a Senior Quality & AI Test Engineer Specialist to help farmers sustainably increase productivity through digital tools, mobile software, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and rigorous quality standards. This role is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic Brazil laboratory, responsible for testing the web & mobile apps that will operate under extreme environments and ensure a great customer experience.

What You Will Do

• Pair up with software engineers, product owners and test engineers to deliver manual test suites for web and mobile (iOS, Android) applications.


• Test applications across different locales to guarantee a valuable global product experience, going to the field when necessary.


• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to ensure data and software tools are accurate and reliable.


• Write test strategies, test plans, design documents, and other needed artifacts.


• Actively engage in root cause analysis reviews.


• Assist in process improvements to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting are effective and efficient.


• Create detailed incident reports for production issues and participate in triage and investigation.


• Contribute flexibly across engineering and testing challenges, collaborating in a small, high-impact team where roles are shared.


• Represent the QA team, and lead all required test activities for assigned projects.


• Act as an evangelist for AI adoption across QA processes and its supporting tools (Datadog, Azure DevOps, PagerDuty, JIRA).

Basic Qualifications

• English fluency. Daily communication with US-based teams and bridging any language gaps.


• Strong background in designing and developing manual tests for web and mobile (iOS and Android), with a stronger emphasis on web experience.


• Strong self-starter who collaborates closely with a team of other self-starters.


• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback regularly with peers.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Domain knowledge in agriculture with QA experience is a strong plus.


• Understanding the SDLC and the tester role within it.


• Ability to prioritize and deliver the most valuable outcomes first.


• At least B2 level of English; Cambridge or similar certification is a plus.


• Understanding of common user interface design patterns and QA methodologies.


• Experience working in Agile teams; SAFe experience is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blackbox testing.


• Strong experience with web testing.


• Medium experience with mobile and API testing.


• ISTQB certification is a plus.


• Foundational programming skills (e.g., scripting for test automation) are a plus.


• Strong AI/ML experience (e.g., Zephyr-like AI-driven automation or test frameworks).
